On Saturday, 14 September, White River Gallery had the great pleasure of hosting Diane Victor, one of South Africa’s most esteemed contemporary artists, as the opening speaker for The Unseen, an exhibition featuring two emerging Lowveld artists, Cyril Chiburre and Simon Attwood. The event marked not only the introduction of two talented artists to the White River community but also a return to the Lowveld for Diane, whose rich history as both an artist and educator brought an added layer of depth and resonance to the occasion.
